Here’s the chance for you and your dog to perform with renowned contemporary dance company ODC/Dance in Gifts of Solace, a piece choreographed by Tony-nominated choreographer Kimi Okada for the 15th anniversary of Trolley Dances.
Dogs will be on leash the whole time, and will close the piece with 2-3 minutes of performance time. Owners will lead the dogs on leash in choreographed walking patterns, with designated sits and lie downs. Possible running with the dog.
Dogs must be able to do the following:
- Remain calm on leash around other dogs, and dancers actively dancing around the owner/dog. Barkers not suitable
- Must be able to sit and lie down on command (treats motivation is fine!)

Please indicate which team (A, B, or C) you could commit to. It is possible to participate in more than one team.

- 2 – 3 Saturday rehearsals, 1 hour, onsite, exact dates TBA (sometime in July/August/September (Teams A, B, and C)
- Saturday, October 13, 10:00am-12:00pm, Dress rehearsal at 10:30am (teams A, B, and C)
- Team A: Friday, October 19th (4 performances)
9:30am call time | Shows at 11:00am, 11:45am, 12:30pm, and 1:45pm | 2:00pm done for day
- Team B: Saturday, October 20 (6 performances)
10:30am call time | Shows at 11:00am, 11:45am, 12:30pm, 1:15pm, 2:00pm, 2:45pm | 3:00pm done for day
- Team C: Sunday, October 21 (6 performances)
10:30am call time | Shows at 11:00am, 11:45am, 12:30pm, 1:15pm, 2:00pm, 2:45pm | 3:00pm done for day
Dogs will have a designated rest area between shows with water and treats available. There will be a small stipend as a token of appreciation for your time.
