Students must be enrolled in a class to participate in performances.
Through performance, we teach our dancers to connect the dots between the classroom work, and the art form. We have a variety of performance opportunities throughout the school year, from Showcase performances in December and May, to Step Onstage classes, where students take part of the creation of new dances, or restaging repertory dances; as well as the dedicated performances of our resident teen dance companies, the Dance Jam, and Seeds; and the opportunity of auditioning to be part of The Velveteen Rabbit kids cast with our professional dance company, ODC/Dance.
