In this weekly class, we will play with ideas from the past as well as acting improvisation exercises to help develop an ownership of a classical ballet presence onstage. Special attention will be on how to access the body to bring an emotional depth and spirit to the performance quality of the aspiring classical ballet dancer. Students will learn traditional repertoire, new choreography and be encouraged to play with finding their own choreographic voices. This class is open to all ballet students enrolled in Ballet 3 (2nd year) and higher.
