Big Red House of Rest is a work in progress reimagining paradigms of the nuclear family and enlivening communication pathways between generations. Devised in collaboration with the performers, Big Red examines ingredients of vitality and decrepitation present in our current systems of succession, illuminating what we must ultimately lay to rest.

  • Liv Schaffer & the Dance Generators

    Dance Generators is the University of San Francisco’s intergenerational dance company. Directed by Liv Schaffer and composed of student and older dancers ranging in age from 17-89, the company uses collaborative dance making as a vehicle for social change and catalyzing perspective shifts on aging.
