Hour Wolf in the Cavern is a collaborative dance work between Portland, Maine based choreographers Riley Watts and Heather Stewart. An iterative performance on states of mourning through the physical mind and the cyclical nature of madness, Hour Wolf is an arrangement of choreographic concepts, dances, objects, sound, and spatial design. These choreographic elements can be recontextualized, and are available for extraction and recontextualization for each future location of performance.

    Formed in 2020, little house dance is a multidisciplinary dance company led by choreographer Heather Stewart and dance artist Riley Watts. Based in Portland, Maine, the traditional territory of the Wabanaki Confederacy, the company’s collaborative work is rooted in contemporary performance installations and helping cultivate the dance community of Maine.
