Diana Aburto

Diana Aburto Vega was born and raised in Nicaragua and has a wide variety of dance experience, from Latin American rhythms, contemporary, modern techniques, belly dance and urban latin dances like Reggaeton and Dancehall. Diana has directed 2 Nicaraguan folklore troupes in San Francisco and has been awarded in 3 different San Francisco Carnaval Grand parades. She is also part of the Bachata and Salsa semi professional teams of Inlakech Dance Academy and works in dance film projects with the acclaimed Vanessa Sanchez from “La Mezcla”. She has deep ancestral connection to the Afro Diaspora training in Cuba in 2022 with Raíces Profundas and for 9 years, she has been one of the main dancers of the afrocuban troupe “Arenas Dance Company'' under the esteemed Susana Arenas Pedroso.
