Hip Hop - Beginning
Shereen Prince has been studying and performing hip-hop dance for the last seven years, and teaches hip-hop class for students of almost every age and ability level. In addition to teaching at numerous Bay Area schools, studios, and organizations such as: World Dance Center, Dance Mission, La Casa de la Madres, and the YMCA, Shereen worked for the San Francisco Unified School District in 2002/2003, organizing and choreographing for Jean Parker Elementary School. Shereen has taught and choreographed in many diverse situations: from teaching beginning hip-hop to blind and visually impaired teens at Enchanted Hills Camp in Napa, to substituting for some of the Bay Area’s top hip-hop instructors at Rhythm & Motion in San Francisco. She has performed at the Hip-Hop Dance Festival, the Art and Soul Festival. Flex, and most recently with Christiane Crawford’s dance collective, Rare Form.
