Y-Exchange is a monthly series of presentations about performing arts, technology, science and how they intersect and inform one another. This event is open to the public and admission is free.

DON KIMBER is a principal scientist at FXPAL and has worked for 20 years on mixed, augmented and virtual reality, multiresolution and panoramic imaging, telepresence, interactive video, and geographic mirror worlds. Don received his M.S. in CIS from UCSC, and Ph.D. in E.E. from Stanford and worked at Xerox PARC for 10 years before joining FXPAL. He authored or coauthored about 75 peer-reviewed papers and 45 patents. His deepest interest is in understanding mind, creativity, and consciousness at the same time individual and collective level, and applying that understanding towards participation in the evolution of the human spirit.
ROBSON LOURENÇO (PhD) is a dance artist and scholar. Working on the soft line of Past-Present and Embodiment, he focuses on creating artistic procedures in the fields of integrative health, creation in dance, and art education. His work is based on embryology and anatomy studies by means of somatic approaches. Nowadays, he traces the relation between dance knowledge and anatomy, studying treaties from the XVIII century, and how these fields of knowledge can be transmitted through artistic body reflections.
Y-Exchange is co-presented by Kinetech Arts, ODC Theater and The Djerassi Resident Artists Program.

Your cocktail will be paired with figs with bacon and chile and will be delivered to your door in advance of Y-Exchange and are available at a limited quantity.
