Welcome to the virtual performance of The Velveteen Rabbit. ODC/Dance is celebrating the 35th Anniversary of this Bay Area Holiday tradition, based on the beloved children’s classic book by Margery Williams.
We will be joined by Joseph Copley (ODC Associate Director of Artistic Planning) who will kick off the evening with some exclusive history and behind-the-scenes intel about how ODC's artistic team transformed this classic tale of love and resilience into an award-winning production full of captivating narration, delightful music and festive characters.
We'll view the 60-minute show together and following the performance, we'll be joined by the characters for a fun Q&A, dancing, and more special details about their costumes, the dance, and the story.
