ODC Presents
Pilot 68: Wild Bodies

ODC presents Pilot 68, a program that shapes the artistic development of breakout voices in the contemporary dance scene, while introducing Bay Area audiences to the next wave of emerging talent. Wild Bodies: Six carefully selected artists choreograph innovative works, fearlessly referencing subject matter that is current, political, and even deeply personal.

Kristin Damrow’s solo for a male performer focuses on character development and discovering genius. Peter Cheng’s quartet explores the relational, personal, and public bounds of shared physical space. Garth Grimball’s trio considers negative space and angles created by the human form. Alyssandra Wu showcases an investigation of the female body’s capacity to persevere in times of trial. Carly Lave creates a narrative of gender liberation, exploring the concept of Mimesis layered onto the politicized site of women’s bodies. Lili Weckler attempts to activate the process of liberating through performance-making, choreographing a piece that also includes original songs.

All ticket sales are final. Performances, dancers, and guest artists subject to change.
