Audition Series with eMotion Arts

The ODC School Audition Series brings dancers and choreographers together in a class context. Dancers may use class cards or pay a $15 drop in fee. Come early to fill out information forms.
eMotion Arts Dance Co is a Bay Area-based dance company with the mission of spreading a message of Oneness through Dance.
Directed by Mariana Sobral, the Company’s goal is to create and showcase a cohesive body of work that highlights and celebrates Oneness by bringing together dancers, artists, and their unique styles.
Embracing diversity by incorporating different dance styles and artistic visions, we want to create an inclusive space where dancers and choreographers collaborate to bring their creations to life. Our creative process incorporates collaborations with musicians, guest choreographers, and educators. This makes the Company a place where its members can further their artistic development, develop their own Artistic Voice.
eMotion Arts Dance Co. is looking for:
- Professional dancers, all genders
- Strong Ballet Technique
- Performance dates in April, June, July, August, October, November and December (more dates may be added)
- Performances include several well-known SF Dance Festivals, and performance spaces in SF and the South Bay
- This Season will include new works in collaboration with a Visual Artist, a musician, and a composer
- Movement style is contemporary with a strong ballet influence (but not pure classical ballet)
- Pointe work is not mandatory, but definitely a plus
- Performance Stipend TBD
- Costumes and up to two pairs of dance shoes are provided
- Weekly company class will be offered
- Rehearsals in San Francisco and the East Bay
- Teaching opportunities with the eMotion Arts Educational program also available
