The Zoom Lobby

5:15pm
Your Zoom theater date begins with you and your friends in an informal, social chat with Mary Stubbs of Stubbs Vineyard, leading us in an overview and tasting of two of her wines: Stubbs Marin Estate Pinot Noir and Stubbs Marin Estate Chardonnay. Wine is available for pickup or delivery through Stubbs Vineyard!

Planted in 1996 amid the fogbound hills of West Marin, Stubbs Vineyard is a perfect site for cool-climate viticulture that produces small quantities of handcrafted Pinot Noir and Chardonnay wines in the Burgundian style.

Stubbs Marin Estate Pinot Noir is a lush wine, with flavors of blackberry and dark fruits. It has soft, sweet tannins and a rich palate. It is an elegant but full wine, with focused acidity and good balance, texture and length.

Stubbs Marin Estate Chardonnay has crisp citrus overtones and hints of tropical fruits. It shows bright acidity and supple tannins.

2 bottles of Stubbs Marin Estate Wine (one Pinot Noir, one Chardonnay)
$90.97: without shipping
$106.43: with shipping

To order, or for questions about the wine offering, please email mary@stubbsvineyard.com.

Livestream Screening

6:00pm

Together, we’ll watch a screening of World’s on Fire, followed by a virtual Q&A with the artists.

By turns heartfelt, visceral, wicked, and tender, World’s on Fire explores the cyclical nature of human experience. The smoldering choreography and fiery music, performed by the renowned ensemble The Crooked Jades, let us glimpse a slice of American history through the vivid portal of sound and movement. Building upon Weare’s 2010 collaboration with The Jades, World’s on Fire, co-directed by Brenda Way and Kate Weare, touches on themes of kinship, belief, codes of honor, love and the will to endure.
